about

Candour Project is a living archive of films, stories and limited artifacts by Olivia Foa’i.

Built from personal archives, field recordings, Super 8 film, found textures and moments gathered over time, each release begins with a story. Sometimes that story becomes a short film. Sometimes a photograph, a printed object, a garment or something else entirely.

The project exists as a slower way of sharing work — one that values memory, process and physical connection in an era of endless consumption.

Many of the pieces are rooted in the South Pacific, family history and cultural continuity, but Candour Project is ultimately about preserving feeling. The small details that often disappear. The texture of a voice note. The grain of film. A moment that might otherwise be lost.

Releases are intentionally limited and produced in small quantities. Not as merchandise, but as artifacts connected to a specific story, place or moment in time.

Candour Project is ongoing.

An archive that continues to grow.
